Our dedication and inspiration for beautiful soap bars

At Mandy's Soap Studio we are dedicated to creating beautiful soaps for you and your family, using quality ingredients for sensitive skin or skin conditions and of course all other skin types. We make our soap bars in small batches taking time, care and attention with each batch.

Our inspiration for creating beautiful soap bars came from the lack of choice available for those with sensitive skin. Just because you may have sensitive skin it doesn't have to mean your soap options have to be plain and boring, or expensive! We have made sure to create an array of gorgeous soap bars for you to choose from, at affordable prices, so never again should you have plain or boring soap.

The cure for him was no chemicals or additives

On our about us page you will discover that our soaps were initially created with my son in mind, who suffers from several skin conditions, including psoriasis, eczema and notably, severe contact dermatitis causing significant distress for him. Just one or two washes with commercial soap bars, liquid soap, shampoo, washing liquid anything commercial, they all stripped his hands of multiple layers of skin leaving raw painful hands. He tried all the different recommended stuff from specialists, lotions, changing diet, basically changing his life around his condition. Nothing worked, and after a fortune spent in trying everything he just stopped trying and suffered. I had studied soap making as a teen and decided to put my long lost knowledge to use and make some soap to see if it would help, as something needed to be done, he couldn't continue like he was.

The improvement was incredible, we were onto something, and so excited in the results. Over the time I tweaked and modified the soap which now is what he uses.

So since using our soap he no longer has symptoms of contact dermatitis, now he is able to use his hands like anyone else, it has changed his life, he even washes his hair with it. As for the kitchen, he uses our dish bar soap, and laundry bar soap for cleaning, I also make him a sensitive fragrance free laundry powder and cleaning products so we have him totally covered, it has even lessened his psoriasis and eczema too, he still gets little flare ups from time to time (you all know what that is like) but it is nothing like it was.

He had thick psoriasis on his scalp and across his face with eczema around his nose and cheek area which was weepy and painful.

Since using our Pine Tar Activated Charcoal and Bentonite Clay Soap both as a soap for face and body and he also uses it as a shampoo the psoriasis has gone from his scalp and forehead where it was thickest, the eczema on his face has lessened drastically, probably 80 - 90% improvement on what it was and quite a few days it is 100% clear.

You can imagine how difficult and painful it was for him, but too hard to truly understand how difficult it is to not be able to use your hands like most other people or how you feel physically and emotionally because your skin is flared up red and raw unless you suffer from the same.

Commercial soaps contain a lot of strong chemicals, preservatives and additives, where natural soap is gentle, moisturising and nourishing to the skin. It can reduce the risk of allergies, skin irritations, dry skin and various skin conditions. Too many products contain chemicals, preservatives and additives these days. Why would you not want to make the change?

We have a variety of handmade natural soap

We offer formulations designed to address an array of skin types, encompassing sensitivity, dryness , oiliness, irritation, acne, fragrance sensitivity, shaving irritation and even soap bars for dogs, and for normal skin too! We even have exfoliators, gardeners or working hands soap, dish soap and laundry soap bars too, all without the nasties. With no nasties in our soap it also means it may help those of you with dermatitis, psoriasis and eczema too.

We are not guaranteeing a cure by any means but we have helped many and hope we can help you too.
